Roots: A Tradition of Folk Music

The award-winning San Gabriel Valley Choral Company (SGVCC) invites the public to attend “Roots: A Tradition of Folk Music,” an incredible dive into the world of folk music, on Saturday, March 15th at 7:30 pm at the historic St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Monrovia. Featuring familiar works from the American folk music tradition as well as pieces from around the world, including Irish, Zambian, Serbian, Venezuelan, Latvian, Taiwanese, Lakota and many others!
Tickets are $25 for general admission and $15 for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased online at www.sgvccsingers.org or by sending checks payable to “SGVCC” to 2648 E Workman Ave, Ste 3001 #312, West Covina, Ca 91791. Tickets will also be available at the door. SGVCC is committed to welcoming all music lovers regardless of their ability to pay the full ticket price.
